Get More (and Better) Leads from Your Real Estate Website with This One Simple Page
We’re coming right out swinging to kick off this first edition of our weekly newsletter.
This is one of our go-to tips for any Realtor serious about generating qualified leads from their website.
Surprisingly, less than 50% of all real estate websites have this page.
Here it is…
Add a “Why Work With Us” Page
Or, if you have one and your site is not converting, keep reading, as you may not be using it properly.
A Why Work With Us page should check the following boxes:
Clearly state your USP (unique selling proposition) in 1-2 sentences and display this as high up on the page as possible
Reiterate your buyers’ and sellers’ main problems and concisely communicate how working with you solves those problems.
Provide social proof to build trust via testimonials, objective achievements, industry recognition, and news mentions
Include a video of yourself summarizing these things
Make all of your contact information accessible and easy to use
An effective Why Work With Us page is NOT:
Your “About” page that has your bio on it
A page of just your sold properties
A list of you talking about how great you are
Your homepage
When you have this page that meets the criteria listed above, it can and should become the most important page on your website.
This is the page you want to send prospects to. Not your homepage. Not your property search page. And definitely not your featured properties or about pages.
A solid Why Work With Us page will not only help your website, but it will help you generate more effective marketing assets as well, such as:
Paid ads that convert higher
Social media posts that get more engagement
Emails that get responses
Cold leads that turn into interested prospects
Ok, now it’s up to you. This week’s assignment is to set aside a couple of hours to get your Why Work Us Page together and up on your website.
Don’t try to make it perfect right out of the gate or else you’ll never finish it.
Just start it, publish it, and refine it each week or month until you’re proud of it and it starts making your phone right (which it will if you commit to it).

New Googe and Yahoo Requirements for Email Senders Are Now In Effect
Starting this month (January 2024), Google and Yahoo require high-volume email senders (anyone sending over 5,000 emails daily) to meet their email authentication requirements.
Not sending anywhere close to 5,000 emails a day?
You will still want to authenticate any domains and their associated emails that you send messages from.
Yes, these requirements are currently only applicable to bulk senders and they’re only from Google and Yahoo. However, we absolutely believe that other ESPs (email service providers) will adopt these requirements and make them standard for anyone sending multiple emails a day.
The good news is that it’s very easy to get your emails authenticated. Just head on over to this handy article from Postmark on the 5 things you need to do.
Take 10 minutes or so to get either your IT person to take care of this or go through the steps in the article linked above.
